Experience and Interests:
I am a licensed associate counselor with experience working with adults, adolescents, children and families. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from Grand View University. I have experience in addressing a wide range of concerns including trauma, depression, anxiety, neurodevelopmental disorders, and emotion regulation. My goal is to create a safe and supportive space for each of my clients to freely explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences without judgment. In this setting I am here to guide my clients to understanding and reshaping their brain’s automatic responses to help them develop healthier patterns of thinking and behavior.
I am deeply passionate about helping my clients navigate through life’s challenges, especially those that come from overwhelming emotional experiences. My approach is grounded in evidence-based practices, which means I use therapeutic methods that have been shown to be effective and are tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual. By combining empathy with these evidence-based techniques, I work collaboratively with my clients to achieve meaningful progress and long-lasting results.
Whether you or your loved one are seeking support to manage anxiety, cope with trauma, develop better emotion regulation, or navigate other challenges, I am here to help. Every person’s journey is unique, and I take a personalized, holistic approach to ensure that therapy is both effective and empowering. I look forward to working with you and supporting you on your path to healing and growth.
