Credentials:
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Counseling and Applied Psychological Sciences and my Master’s degree in Counseling from Arizona State University.
I am passionate about meeting individuals where they are in their life journey and creating a supportive, nonjudgmental space where they can navigate life’s challenges, build self-awareness, and work toward their goals. I believe therapy is a collaborative process, and I strive to walk alongside each client while supporting their growth and development.
My areas of clinical interest include working with individuals experiencing anxiety and depression, life transitions, grief, emotional regulation, cultural and personal identity, and athlete identity and performance. I enjoy working with children, adolescents, young adults, and adults and value tailoring therapy to each individual’s unique needs, strengths, and goals.
Having been raised in a family of Division I athletes, I have a unique understanding of the commitment, expectations, and stressors that can come with athletic excellence. As a Pacific Islander who participates in Polynesian dance and takes pride in my culture, I also recognize the importance of cultural and personal identity and strive to create a space where clients feel seen, understood, and empowered to explore what matters most to them.
My therapeutic approach is integrative, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and person-centered approaches. I prioritize building a strong therapeutic relationship and creating a collaborative environment where clients feel comfortable, supported, and empowered throughout the therapeutic process.
